Meet Caitlin McQuilkin-Bell: Australian Athlete and Run Coach

Caitlin's success in 2022 is a testament to her coaching expertise and her own athletic achievements. She emerged as the winner in the Queensland State Short Course Cross Country Championships (Open Women category) and the Queensland State 10,000m Track Open Women category. She also secured silver medals in the Queensland State Open 3000m and 1500m events. In addition, Caitlin achieved notable placements in various national and international competitions, including the New Zealand National Cross Country Championships Senior Women (4th place), Australian National Cross Country Championships Open Women (11th place), Run4Reef Race2Zero Elite 10km (winner), and QLD 1500m Classic (5th place).

In addition to her extensive experience as an athlete, Caitlin holds several coaching accreditations from Athletics Australia (AA), including Level 2 Coach, Level 1 Coach, Kids Athletics Coach, Athletics Coach Silver Certification, and Athletics Coach Bronze Certification. Her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement is evident in her coaching approach.
 

Caitlin's passion for coaching and guiding young athletes is evident in her coaching philosophy. She is also well-versed in physical therapy, sports nutrition, and sport performance coaching, which adds an additional layer of expertise to her coaching approach.

The College is fortunate to have Caitlin on board as a run coach - she is eager to work with our students who are aspiring runners of all levels, aiming for greatness in their respective fields."
