Beyond merely enhancing endurance and speed, our Running Club cultivates discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among students. Through regular participation in a Running Club, students learn the significance of goal setting, pushing personal boundaries, and supporting one another, laying the groundwork for a robust athletic program that promotes not just physical health, but also mental resilience and camaraderie among peers. 

Available for students from Year 4 - Year 12.

Dive into the dynamic world of eSports at Coomera Anglican College, where students explore a multifaceted Programme nurturing competitive gaming excellence. 

From internal competitions to prestigious roles like the Ambassador, the program offers a diverse range of opportunities. Uncover the structured Leadership Tiers emphasising Team-Oriented Mindset, Respect, Discipline, Responsibility, Resilience, and Positive Attitude, aligning with the spirit of sportsmanship. 

This Programme reflects the College's commitment to skill development, fair play, and a vibrant gaming community. Available for students from Year 7 - Year 12.

Coomera Anglican College proudly offers two dynamic youth development programs: The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (or ‘The Duke of Ed’) and the Bridge Award. 

The Bridge Award, available to students in Year 7 and 8, fosters confidence, resilience, and independence through engaging activities such as physical recreation, service, skill development, and adventurous journeys.

Meanwhile, students aged 14 and above (Year 9 and onwards) can partake in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, an internationally recognised initiative offering three levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—each involving customisable activities and goals.

Our Public Speaking and Debating platforms focus on our student’s communication prowess, fostering the art of articulation, persuasion, and critical thinking. Through public speaking and debating, students develop confidence in expressing their ideas, mastering the art of crafting compelling arguments while learning to listen and respect diverse viewpoints. These skills transcend the classroom, empowering students to excel in interviews, presentations, and real-world situations, equipping them with the tools to navigate complexities, advocate for themselves, and contribute meaningfully to society.

In addition to the programmes outlined above, there are a number of additional cocurricular programmes offered for our Secondary Students.

Coomera Anglican College participates in Netball and Basketball Club Sports within local association competitions. As part of our continuing commitment towards inspiring excellence, the College provides students with an developmental and elite based training environment through our Football (incl Futsal), Netball and Basketball Academy Programmes.

The College offers a number of different worship bands that actively support Worship life in the College.  As well as playing for student worship each week, the Senior Worship Band plays for House Worships, Baptism and Confirmation services, Staff Eucharists, Crossroads Disability Services, and other events as required. The students lead their congregations in meaningful worship while celebrating their love of music.

Worship Bands are available for Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary students.
