The Club actively competes within the Northern Gold Coast Association every Saturday, welcoming both male and female players aged 7-years and above.

 

Our major club goals are centred around:
  • Participation and Enjoyment;
  • Promoting an Active Lifestyle;
  • Nurturing Self-Esteem and Camaraderie;
  • Creating Meaningful Experiences; and
  • Building Strong Relationships.

Club Registration

Anyone is welcome to join the CACaburra Netball Club. 

Registrations to play for the Coomera Anglican College Netball Club in the Northern Gold Coast Netball Association competition can be completed online through MyNetball. 

Registrations open in January each year and all payments will be made through the MyNetball website at the time of registration. Registration age is based on what the student will turn this year.

 

NetSetGo Programme

NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s only junior entry netball program. It has been developed to provide children from 5 to 10 years with the best possible learning and playing experience to develop a positive introduction to netball, ensuring enjoyment and continued participation. 

NetSetGO incorporates skill activities, minor games, music, dance, and modified matches in a fun and safe environment. The weekly program is coordinated by approved Centres to ensure a quality experience for all participants.

Coomera Anglican College operates a NetSetGo Prgramme as part of their Netball Club and Netball Academy. 

 

Training

Training is held on campus at Coomera Anglican College on Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings and afternoons, and Friday afternoons. 

 

Games Played

Games are played on Saturday mornings at Runaway Bay Courts. 

Policies and Procedures 

All players, parents, guardians and extended family members of players registered with CACAburra Netball Club are expected to adhere to the Codes of Behaviour. 

Coaches

Megan Walker | Head of Netball

Megan Walker is the Head of Netball at Coomera Anglican College. Undertaking the position in 2022, Megan heads up the Club and Netball Academy. With a diverse background in Netball, working with Netball Queensland, Gold Coast Titans Netball as Assistant Coach and at the College she strives to ensure that foundations of the game are embedded into players alongside culture, respect and development.

Information regarding how to purchase Netball Uniforms is sent through to parents once registration has been completed.
